YOUR
HELP NEEDED
Have you been on
one or more Minors on Tour (MOT) to mainland Europe?
Have you happy
memories of your overseas trip with other Morris Minor Owners?
If the answers
are yes, then we need your help.
We are trying to
build this website into a record of MOT's over the past years, from
the small beginning in 1983 to the present day.
We would like your memories, your anecdotes - all the funny or interesting
things which made MOT so memorable, and, of course, your photographs.
We would like to
show other MOTers, and those thinking of taking the plunge into their
first trip, what fun we have, and what they might expect if they came
along.
You can contact
us with your memories by e-mail - ian.portsmouth2@ntlworld.com
- or by post - Ian Portsmouth, 20 Beechwood Avenue, Woodley, Berkshire,
RG5 3DG.
If you're sending photographs by e-mail attachment, please give a brief
description of the subject of each photo.
If you're
sending photos by post, please let us know something about them. We
would suggest that you do not write directly on the back of the photographs,
but on a 'post it' note or sticky label. We will return any photographs
that you send. (A stamped, addressed envelope would help to keep the
costs down.)
Other information we would like are your details - name, address, e-mail
address, and telephone number if you wish, and the year and venue of
the MOT you are telling us about. (If you could also tell us which other
MOT's you've been on it would help as background information.)
We would welcome anything that has created a memory of MOT, no matter
how small.
We know that some folk do not have a way with the written word, but
we would still like hear from as many people as possible, and will make
sure that everything published on this site is of a readable style.
Even if you don't
have anything to say, we would still very much welcome your photographs,
so have a root around in the cupboard for your albums and scrapbooks,
and send us the photos which still make you smile.
Thank-you.
